He was preceded in death by his father Verlis Ellis and nephew Daniel Sutton. He is survived by his: Mother: Edith Ellis Brother and sister-in-law: Glenn and Helen Ellis, Danny and Glinda Ellis Sisters and brothers-in-law: Carolyn and Don Smith, Glenda and Eddie Sutton, Barbara and Ronnie White, Kathy Whaley Extended family and special friends: Brittany McCollum, Larry Waters, and several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Reagan and Rev. Bill Maples officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for interment.
