Roy E. Thomas, 82, of Kodak, died Tuesday at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Nellie Thomas; a brother; a brother-in-law; three nieces; and a father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ethel Underwood Thomas, daughter, Jana and husband the Rev. Dino Bray; two grandsons; a sister; a sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Thursday at Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church with funeral service following. The Rev. Al Smith, Ronnie White and Dino Bray officiated.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Paw Paw Hollow Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Bray officiating. Evergreen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
