  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 7 Nov 2008. POLLARD, PAULINE NICHOLS - 88 of Chattanooga, passed away Friday November 7, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Terra Vista Baptist Church in Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Franklin Pollard; parents, John B. and Maggie Jane Lyle Nichols; sisters, Martha Nichols, Neva Kate Haggard; brothers, Charles D. and James M. Nichols. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, J. C. and Wanda Pollard of Chattanooga; sister, Anna M. Cline and brother, Floyd H. Nichols both of Strawberry Plains; sister in law, Dorothy Underwood, Kodak; nieces, Charlene Bolin and Darlene Herriman; nephews, Rev. Roger Underwood, Galen Underwood, Charles, Terry, Bill and Johnny Nichols. Funeral services 2 p.m. Monday at Fielden Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Springs Cemetery in Sevier County. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market. 865-475-3468.
