JOHNSON, WILLIAM HOWARD - of Knoxville, passed away Friday, January 26, 2001. He was retired after 41 years with ALCOA and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Mr. Johnson was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, 50 year member of Masters Masonic Lodge F&AM and a member of Knoxville #69 OES. He was also a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Alma Dykes Johnson; daughter, Gail Manno, New York; son and daughter in law, Rev. Bill and Anna Johnson, Fla.; grandson and fianc‚, Darren Johnson and Meg Bernard, Charlotte, NC; sister and brother in law, Reba and George Deavours , Knoxville; brother, Glenn Johnson, Crossville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Berry Chapel with Dr. Hollie Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Highland South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church, P.O. Box 3286, Riverview, Fla. 33568. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
