BLALOCK, CLYDE CARL - age 76, of Sevierville, died Sunday, November 5, 2000, at Sevier Medical Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville, and a Veteran of the 15th Army Air-Corp during World War II. He served as chairman of the Sevier County Republican Party from 1954-1958. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Blalock.
Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Sherry Blalock, Dan and Kim Blalock, and Terry and Angelia Blalock; grandchildren, Ashli Blalock, Ali Blalock, Wesley Blalock, Erika Blalock, and Emily Blalock; brothers, Charlie Blalock, Bill Blalock and Ted Blalock; sisters, Iva Jenkins, Omalee Wilson and Pearl Watson. Funeral service 7 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Interment with military honors will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Middle Creek Cemetery. Clyde Carl Blalock, 76, of Sevierville died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Sevier Medical Center.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville and a veteran of the 15th Army Air-Corps during World War II. He served as chairman of the Sevier County Republican Party from 1954 to 1958.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Sherry Blalock, Dan and Kim Blalock and Terry and Angelia Blalock; five grandchildren; brothers, Charlie Blalock, Bill Blalock and Ted Blalock; and sisters, Iva Jenkins, Omalee Wilson and Pearl Watson.

Funeral service was Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Interment with military honors will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Middle Creek Cemetery.
