Johnson, Cloyd R. (Woots) –age 80 of South Knoxville passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010. He was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist church, retired from DACO and served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Preceded in death by parents, Meno and May Johnson; brothers, Hythen and Helbert (Hode) Johnson.
Survivors
Survived by wife of 48 years, Stella Johnson; sisters, Edna Deadrick, Jean Burnette,Aneice Burnette; brother, Alfred Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
Service
The service will be on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with Rev. Jack Cooper and Rev. Elbert Deadrick Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Woodlawn Cemetery for the interment. Special thanks to Holston Dialysis Clinic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee, 4450 Walker Boulevard, Knoxville, Tennessee 37917.
