FOX, MARY PEARL (OWNBY) - 86, died Tuesday November 7, 2000 at home under care of Hospice of Hinesville. She was a native of Sevier County and Knoxville, Tenn. She lived in St. Petersburg, Florida for more that 20 years before moving to Hinesville, Georgia in 1987. She was the widow of Clifford E. Fox and daughter of E.P. (Posey) and Martha Owenby. She was a member of Thirty Eight Saint Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida and attended Gum Branch Baptist Church. She was a 1933 graduate of Mars Hill College in North Carolina. Survivors are 3 daughters and 2 sons in law, Ann and John Daughter of Hinesville, Georgia, Martha Andrews of St. Petersburg, Florida and Nancy and Robert Barlow of Holt, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services Saturday November 11, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Gum Branch Baptist Church, Hinesville, Georgia with Rev. Roger Wilkins officiating. Rev. Roger Wilkins officiating. Remembrances Hospice of Hinesville, 115 W. Oglethrope Plaza, Hinesville, Georgia 31313 and Gum Branch Baptist Church. Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
