Stella Jane (Morton) Nolan age 76 of Sevierville, TN. went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2006 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN.Jane was a dedicated and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a servant to her God. Jane was a faithful member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church where she dearly loved singing and teaching her Sunday School Class and was loved by all who knew her. She was a talented writer and a Handweaver.Jane was preceded in death by her husband, June Nolan; Son-in-Law, Benton Reagan; Granddaughter, Sarah Lamon.
Survivors include her children and spouses, Gerald Nolan of Sevierville; Kip Nolan and wife, Sandi of Sevierville; Hope Reagan of Gatlinburg; Stella Lamon and husband, Rev. Pete of Sevierville; Dawn Nitzberg and husband, Howard of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Paul Ogle, Angela McCarter, John Ogle, Donnie Lamon, Tammie Sink, Alan Chisholm, Kayla Nolan, Jason Nitzberg, Destinee Nitzberg, Mindy Martin, Sierra Nitzberg and Josh Nitzberg; 14 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Fritz Morton and wife Nell of Pigeon Forge; Tom Morton and wife, Sandra of Gatlinburg; Clell Morton and wife, Helen of Franklin, N.C; Sister, Augusta Whaley and husband, Frank of Gatlinburg; and a host of friends.Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Lamon, Rev. Bill Barnes and Donnie Lamon officiating.Interment will follow service in Walnut Grove Cemetery with Rev. Mike Webber officiating.The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2006 at Rawlings.In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries 437 Forks of the River Parkway Sevierville, TN. 37862.You may share your thoughts and memories with the family on our website
