LINDSEY, PAUL - age 72 of Halls went home to be with the Lord July 6, 2010 at Mercy Residential Hospice at Halls. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army and a well known Locksmith for more than 30 years in the Knoxville area. Preceded in death by his parents Bart & Addie Lindsey, Sister Edna Valentine, Brothers Robert Lindsey, Wade Lindsey & Brownie Lindsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Wanda Sprouse Lindsey; sisters, Mae Valentine of Talbot, Dorothy Bohanan of Seymour; and brother, Frank Lindsey of Seymour; extended family, Dr. Scott and Dacia Thomas and children; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Friday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Dr. Scott Thomas, Dr. Alan Price and Dr. Charles Earl officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the main entrance to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Awana Ministry or the Music Ministry of Beaver Dam Baptist Church 4328 East Emory Road Knoxville, Tennessee 37938.
