Leatherwood, age 91, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Maryville Healthcare Center. She was a longtime member of Broadway Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband, James Frank Leatherwood and brother, James Elmer “Chuck” Martin. Survivors include cousin, Kenny Lawson of Maryville, brother in law, Stanley Best of Maryville and special friend and caregiver, Judy Watson of Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Broadway Baptist Church, 2329 East Broadway, Maryville, TN. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
