He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years Mary King; son Ronald Wayne King and wife Jane; son Steve King and wife Kim; sisters Ethel Whaley and Margie Arden; grandchildren: Becky Vandergriff and husband Tony; Scott King and wife Rose; Kendall Murphy and husband Charlie; Brittany King; great-grandchildren: Rachel Vandergriff; Andrew, Jessica and Matthew King. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm at Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church (BCCPC) 7225 Old Clinton Pike. A memorial service will follow. Dr. Thomas Sweet, Don Sweet and Fran Vickers officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to BCCPC building fund; Mercy Hospice or their favorite charity.
