Violet R. Ogle , 78, of Lombard died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at her home.
She was a resident of Lombard for 56 years. She had retired from White Cap Co. in Chicago after more than 40 years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lombard.
She is survived by a sister, Golda Ames of Missouri; two brothers, Junior (wife Lura) Ogle of Missouri and Nile (wife Mary) Ogle of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews, including Roberta (husband Bert) Medema of Lombard, Raechel, Scott (wife Valorie) Williams of Wheaton and Kalvin Williams of Wheaton.
She was preceded in death by her lifelong friend, Ellen R. Sobieralski; and six brothers and sisters, Winnie Ames, Duane Ogle , Waymon Ogle , Joan Coventry, Lester (wife Geraldine) Ogle and Kenneth (wife Wanita) Ogle .
Visitation and a service took place Saturday, May 10, at Brust Funeral Home in Lombard. The Rev. Stephen Williams officiated.
Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace.
