He was a member of Washington Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis England and his parents, Ralph and Grace England. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Merendino and husband Kevin; son, Michael England; grandchildren, Eban, Abigail, Michael and Carly Meredino; sister, Debbie Henderson and husband Gary; sister-in-law, Peggy Shipe and husband Jerry; and brother-in-law Dennis Ogle. He leaves special friend, Alan Shipley. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation . Services will be held at Highland South Chapel Saturday May 28, 2011 with visitation beginning at 1:00PM Followed by funeral service at 2:00pm. Private entombment to follow.
