He was the former pastor of Twin Oaks Baptist Church for 9 years and was retired from the State Highway Department as an Engineer. He was preceded in death by his Father, Hubert Ogle; Brother, Rockford Ogle; and his nephew, Ricky Ogle. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lavern Ogle; Daughter and Son-in-law, Kathy and Tim Dyer; and Daughter, Karen Tucker; 4 Grandchildren, Josh and Timmy Dyer, and Dallas and Charity Tucker; Mother, Ada Ogle; Brothers and Sister-in-laws, Earl and Faye Ogle and Ray and Bertha Ogle; Sister and Brother-in-law, Nancy and Jimmy Norton; and Sister-in-law, Pat Hodges; 4 Special Nephews and Nieces; Curtis and Penny Ogle, Roger and Edith Ogle, Wayne Ogle, Nancy Cline, and several other nieces and nephews, all of Seymour. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 8:00 PM in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Jack Clabough and Rev. Doug White officiating. Burial will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Ellejoy Cemetery with Rev. Elmer Webb officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 - 8 PM in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary Inc., 983-1000.
