Ira Hill (Aunt Ira) Hance, age 90, of Chestnut Hill Community, passed away Monday, December 29, 2003, at Sevier County Health Care Center. She was of the Baptist faith, but later attended Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Hance, and parents, George and Vandora Byrd Hill. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Johnnie and David Allen, of Sevierville; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Rebecca Hance, of Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Allen and wife Patricia, Brent Allen, Shannon Hance, Ashley Gregg and husband Wayne; great-grandchildren, Sierra Allen, Steven Hance, Andy and Brooklyn Gregg; also several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel followed by the funeral services at 8:00 p.m., with the Rev. John Clark and the Rev. Dan King officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Lawson Chapel Cemetery. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
