Bernard Shultz, age 81 of Sevierville passed away Saturday September 6, 2014. He was born February 10, 1933 in Sevierville. Bernard was employed by Cherokee/Dan River for 44 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Rinda Shultz; son, David Bernard Shultz, Jr.; grandson, Jason Shultz; brothers, Kendrick, Clyde, Eugene, James and Earnest Nadine Shultz.

Sons: Bobby Ray Shultz, and wife, Sherry, and Larry Joe Shultz
Grandchildren: Valerie Fillbach and husband, Chad, Dustin Shultz, Brian Shultz, and Todd Shultz
Great-Grandchildren: Desiree Fillbach, Logan Fillbach, Kale Shultz, Ethan Shultz, Mason Shultz, Keagen Shultz, Madison Shultz, Autumn Shultz, Gabriel Shultz, and Josh Shultz
Brothers: Conley Shultz and wife, Pauline
Brother-in-law: Elmer Williams
Sisters: Juanita Williams, Iva Shular, Martha Coleman and Hettie Stiles
Many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
The family would like to thank our special caregivers, Penny Morris and Kristy Zegler, and the Home Instead Caregivers for their compassionate care.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Tuesday with funeral service to follow at 7PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Wells officiating. Interment 10AM Wednesday in Webb's Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
