Sheryl Dixon Tilson, 46, of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in an Athens hospital.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a person that was loved by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Edna Hayes and Charlie and Rossie Dixon; father, Arivel Dixon; daughter, Misty Michelle Tilson; brother, Billy Dixon; mother-in-law, Ethel Tilson; and sister-in-law, Margaret Ogle.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Tilson; daughters and sons-in-law; Alexis and Debron Clowers of Riceville, Samantha and Barratt Schichtel of Cleveland; grandchildren: Reese and Maddie Goodwin of Cleveland; parents, Henry and Shirley Setters of Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law: Brenda and Randy Rapier of McDonald, Jennifer and Kenneth Cathey of Cleveland; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Beverly and Pete Samples of Englewood, Mary and Larry Latham of Englewood, Bobbie Jean and Austin Presley of Loudon, Marie and Clifford Vance of Calhoun, Myrtle Tilson of Vonore, and Betty and Sheryl Ogle of Madisonville and Junior and Freddy Tilson of Dover.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Key officiating.
Interment will follow in Calhoun Cemetery with Barratt Schichtel, Debron Clowers, Randy Rapier, Austin Presley, Junior Presley and Gene Presley serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p. m. today, March 17, 2006, at the chapel of the funeral home.
