Betty Ogle age 70, of Madisonville, passed away at 12:40 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Sweetwater Hospital. She was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church. She was a loving and caring person and was very loved by her family.
She was 70.
Preceded in death by: son, James Allen Carter; parents, Robert and Ethel Ownby Tilson; sister, Margaret Ogle; brothers, T.J., Langley, Jimmy and Junior Tilson.
Survivors include: husband-Sherrill Ogle;
Daughters and sons-in-law-Virginia and Kenny Bryant of Madisonville; Vickey and Scott Parker of Maryville;
Stepsons-Randy, Danny and Jimmy Ogle of Madisonville;
Grandchildren-Derrick Parker, Brad Parker, Kendra Bryant, Christin Carter, Courtney Carter, Cory Ogle, Jimmy Joe Ogle, Austin Ogle, Carly Jo Ogle and Mya Ogle;
Great-grandchildren-Abby Parker, Aiden Carter, Kaylee Brummitt and Cyden Debety;
Sisters-Myrtle Ogle of Madisonville; Marie Vance of Athens; Beverly Samples and Mary Latham, both of Englewood; and Barbara Jean Presley of Vonore;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 23, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Samuel Hollingshead officiating. Interment was 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24, in Hopewell Springs Cemetery. Family received friends before the service. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
