Peeler, age 83 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Kathleen Peeler; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dora and Troy Woods; and nephew, Jeffrey. Mr. Peeler was a veteran of the United States Navy and lifetime member of the American Legion. He was Past Exalted Ruler of the Gatlinburg Elks Lodge and a member of the Vonore Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Helen Woods Peeler; Daughter and son-in-law: Lesa and Rick Martin; Precious grandchildren who he loved so very much: Tyler and Katelyn Martin; Sister and brother-in-law, June and Hugh B. Collins; Brother-in-law, T.L. Woods; Nieces, Cindy Keck (Kevin), Connie Gamble (Brian), Carol Dixon (Randy) Donations may be made to Henderson Chapel Baptist Church, 407 Henderson Chapel Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. Funeral service 10 AM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Loveday officiating. Music will be provided by Donny Richmond. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
