Margie R. McCarter, 75, of Sevierville went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 17, 2005 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center.
Margie was a member of the Dupont Baptist Church. She served her Lord as a loving mother, grandmother, and faithful friend.
Waiting for Margie to join them is her husband, Carl McCarter; grandchildren, Sarah Lamon, Derrick Clabo; parents, Davis Otis and Flora Manis Reagan; brother, Ray Reagan; sisters, Ruth Gann, Helen Vance, Phyllis and Louise Reagan.
Leaving behind to mourn their loss, but celebrating Margie’s life are her children, Charlene Clabo, Vickie Ownby and husband David, Pete Lamon and wife Stella all of Sevierville, Rhonda Shultz and husband Ernie of Pigeon Forge; brother, Ted Reagan and wife June of Pigeon Forge; step-daughter, Jettie Carr of Pigeon Forge; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides the immediate family, Margie will be missed by many other relatives and a host of friends whose lives she has touched.
Service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Ogle and Rev. Donnie Lamon officiating with Jonathan Shultz delivering the eulogy. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20 at Banner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
Michael Clabo, Richard Ownby, Andrew and Jonathan Shultz, Robert Stoffle, Jeff Sink and Andrew Downey will have the honor of serving as pallbearers for Margie.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center and Sevier County Health Care Center for the love and attention they showed Margie.
