LOVEDAY, WANDA LEE (KITTS) - age 83 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice after bravely enduring a lengthy illness. Long time member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church. After working as switchboard operator for the telephone company and office secretary for L&N Railroad, she devoted her life as a full time mother and homemaker. Preceded in death by parents, George W. and Margaret Kitts; sisters, Opal Houser and Nona Davis; brothers, Bill, Wilbert and Norman Kitts. Survived by son, Kenny Loveday and fiancée, Stacey Lowery of Knoxville; daughters, Carlene Braswell and husband, Sam of Corryton, Jan Loveday and husband, Don Good of Johnson City; brothers Bobby Kitts and wife, Frances of Knoxville, Leon Kitts and wife, Mary of Maryville; sister, Margaret Glover of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jessi and Jonathan Webster, Kendra Miller and husband, Brad and Kevin Elliott and wife, Allyson, Andrea Garner and husband, Glenn, Hannah Stuart and husband, Bryan, and Jason Good; 5 great grandchildren. Special appreciation to long term caregivers Oma Bailey and Gabrielle Peek and the wonderful staff of North Knoxville Dialysis and St. Mary's Hospice. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. on Sunday June 24, 2007 in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Martin officiating Family and friends will meet 105 a.m. on Monday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11 a.m. interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. on Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 523-4999.
