HOUSEHOLDER, LELAND W. "DEED" - age 78 of Maryville passed away 10 p.m. Friday April 6, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from ALCOA, was a member of the Alcoa 25 Year Club and the Blount Memorial Auxiliary. He was a member and deacon of Madison Ave. Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, W.O. and Ina Householder; daughter, Janice; sister, Fay Ott; brothers, Earl and Billy Joe Householder.

Survivors include; wife of 53 years, Helen Lane Householder; sons and daughters in law, Dr. Ron and Brenda Householder of Va., Steve and Gwen Householder; grandchildren, Jason and Katie Householder, Amanda and R.W. of Va., Scott and Kristy Cupp; great grandchildren, Luke and Kassidy Householder, Chandler Cupp; brothers, Ed and Harold Householder; sisters, Lois Hickman and Margery Brewer; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Sunday April 8, 2001 in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Earl Taylor and Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Monday at Knob Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
