ALLEN, JULIA ANN (JUDY) RUTLEDGE - age 75 of Knoxville, died suddenly, August 7, 2004 at her home. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Bearden, the Elizabeth Sunday School Class and the W.M.U. Judy was a graduate of Carson Newman College. She was loved by all who knew her, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who cared for everyone.
Judy was preceded in death by: her son, George M. Allen.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Charles Lee Allen; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Gary Goforth; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sanae Allen; and daughter-in-law, Jackie Allen; grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Sarah, Julia, Charles Jared (C.J.), Robbie, Alex and Nicholas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bettie and John Finch, Mary and Ed Scarbrough, Martha and David Whitten; brother and sister-in-law, Wiley and Marjorie Rutledge; and many loving family and friends to numerous to count.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church, Bearden with Dr. Larry Fields and Dr. Henry Chiles officiating. The family and friends will meet at Alder Branch Cemetery in Sevier County for a 4:00 p.m. graveside and interment service following the funeral service. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the mission fund of Central Baptist Church, Bearden, 6300 Deane Hill Dr. Knoxville, TN. 37919. Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
