He was born on March 30, 1922. Mr. Wilson was born at Fish Camp on Little River in the Great Smoky Mountains. He was a member of Oldham’s Creek Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and he was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Plant. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Ogle Wilson, parents, George D. and Ruth (Watson) Wilson, and sisters Irene Bailey and Ruby Whaley. Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-law: Lowell and Linda Wilson, Eugene and Doris Wilson, Jim Wilson, David and Brenda Wilson, Hal and Sandra Wilson, Darrell Wilson, Kevin and Donna Wilson, and Dwayne Wilson Daughter and son-in-law: Veta and Donnie King Grandchildren and their spouses: Anita Wilson, Amy and Klay Aspinwall, Gina and Toby Flynn, Melanie Wilson, Lori and Jason Watson, Rachel Wilson, Tyler King, Allison King, Matthew Wilson, Kendra and Brett Taylor, Kellie Wilson, Mark Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Katie Wilson, Justin Wilson, and Alex Wilson Great grandchildren: Hannah, Klay, Elizabeth, Abigail and Jakob Aspinwall, Brenna, Haley and Wilson Flynn, and Braden and Allie Watson Brothers and sisters: Rev. Pallbearers will be Matthew, Mark, Andrew, and Justin Wilson, Tyler King, Klay Aspinwall, Toby Flynn, Jason Watson and Brett Taylor.
