She was a member of Dupont Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anas Mellinger; and five brothers. Survivors: sons, Hulan Mellinger of Sevierville, Jimmie Mellinger of Seymour; daughter, Linda Gentry of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Monty Millinger of Sevierville, James K. Mellinger of Duluth, Ga., Timmy Mellinger of Seymour; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Wright of Pigeon Forge, Zellie Wright of Strawberry Plains. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Rawlings Funeral Home. The Rev. Leon Mayo and the Rev. Ernie Coleman will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 Friday. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Knob Creek Cemetery. Rawlings Funeral Home, Sevierville, in charge.
