Anna Belle Hammontree Pittman age 97 of Greenback passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Oakland United Methodist Church and a loving mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by: Husband, Harold A. Pittman; Daughter, Johnnie Brown; Brothers, Claude, Roy B. Jr., and Billy John Hammontree; Son-in-law, Ralph Frank. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Cecil & Trish Pittman of Fayetteville, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Mary Sue Frank of Greenback, Alva & Ralph Bowerman of Friendsville, Corine & Burton Stone of Knoxville, Loretta & Joel Kilpatrick of Greenback, and Betty & Jim Reagan of Gatlinburg, TN; Son-in-law, Bobby Brown; 18 Grandchildren; many great & great-great-grandchildren; Sister & Brother-in-law, Faye & J.B. Houston of Rockford; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Stephen Yeaney officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Grandview Cemetery.
