Born May 5, 1916, to the late Thomas and Ida Huskey Ogle, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Clell David Watson, brothers Amos and Arlie Ogle, sisters, Sarah Ogle Trentham, Josie Ogle Kear, and Pearl Ogle McCarter. One of the early pioneers of the Appalachian Mountains, she was a weaver for Arrowcraft Shop for several years and later owned a shop specializing in fine linens and other handmade crafts. She also helped her husband in their grocery store until retirement. She was a charter member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law: Jack Ellis and Martha Watson Daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Roy Whaley, Dorothy and Lloyd Middleton Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren Sister and brother-in-law: Georgia Ogle and Sam Trentham Brother-in-law and wife: Hugh and Evelyn Watson Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Dr. David Ayers officiating. Family and friends will meet 1 PM Sunday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for interment. The family will receive friends 6-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
