Harold Ray Wager Sr., 77, of Radcliff died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Major Wager retired from the U.S. Army. He was past president of the Radcliff Lions Club, life member and president of MOAA and lifetime member of American Legion Post No. 1 in Paris, France.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathryn L. Wager .
Survivors include his wife, Altha Wager ; a son, Harold R. Wager Jr. of Radcliff; a sister, Donna Wager Doom of Springfield, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Airel K. Wager and Evan M. Wager of Harrisburg, Ill.
A memorial service is at 7 p.m. Thursday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff. Burial will be at a later date in Tennessee.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Major (Ret.) Harold R. Wager, Sr., age 77 of Radcliff, Kentucky passed away on December 23, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kentucky.
Preceded in death by parents D.F. and Blanche Wager; daughter, Kathryn Wager.
Survivors include, children, Harold R. Wager, Jr. of Radcliffe, Kentucky; grandchildren, Ariel K. Wager and Evan M. Wager of Harrisburg, Ill.; sister, Donna Doom of Springfield, Ilinois: several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Tarwater Cemetery off Chapman highway with Rev. David Smith officiating.
