Charles attended Smithwood Baptist Church and was a well known roofer in the Sevier County area. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Loveday and son, Sammy Loveday, grandparents, Verliss and Viola Burkett and Johnny and Flora Hurst Loveday. Survivors include his son, Charles William Loveday, Jr. of Sevierville, parents, Glenn and Mary Burkett Loveday of Sevierville, sisters, Theresa Tullock and husband, Dennis of Sevierville, Lisa Hart and husband, Tom of Sevierville, Gledean Frye of Sevierville, and Connie Gosnell and husband, Troy of Sevierville, brothers, Johnny Ray Loveday of Sevierville, and Verliss Loveday and wife, Cynthia of Sevierville, several nieces and nephews and friends. Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. Dan King and Rev. Wes Carr officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
