Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Dorothy or “Dottie” as most everyone called her loved the Lord, her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walker; her parents, George and Mary Maples Parton; sister, Birgie Parton; brothers, Junior Bruce Parton; Carl Parton. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Jaimes and husband, Macario; Brenda Lee Sappington and husband, Tommy; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Sue Parton; grandchildren, Marie, Macario, Mellissa, Melina Jaimes; Jennifer Sparks and Cindy Sappington; 5 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Madelyn, Austin, Josie and Kassie. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville with Brother W.H. Burcham officiating.
