Harry W. Ogle, age 90 of Pigeon Forge, died 9:00 P.M. Monday, September 15, 2003 at Fort Sanders-Sevier Medical Center. He was the eldest child of the late Dr. John W. and Blanche (Wayland) Ogle and was an active member of the Pigeon Forge United Methodist Church for over 70 years. Mr. Ogle was a lifelong Sevier County farmer. After graduating Sevier County High School, he started farming his home place of Five Oaks for his father and later ran his own farm in Pigeon Forge. He helped other area farmers in the fields and repaired their farm equipment. A true visionary with many talents, Mr. Ogle was also a self taught accomplished welder, builder, plumber and electrician.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Estalee Sims Ogle; son, Jerry Willis Ogle; brothers, John D. and Dr. Homer C. Ogle; and grandson, Troy W. Ogle.
He was a wonderful, devoted and loving father and grandfather and is survived by:

Great-grandchildren: Aaron and Jerrika Coffee, Brandon W. Ogle, Taylor, Katelyn and Logan Ogle.

Funeral service is 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. James Benson and Rev. Keith Knight officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Thursday in Pigeon Forge Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 157, Pigeon Forge, TN, 37868.
