BUTCHER, GLADYS B. - age 83, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 30, 2000. She was a member of Second United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, William N. Butcher, Jr.; infant son, Thomas Edward Butcher; sisters, Clessie Seaton, Lynne French, & Myrtle Davenport.
Survivors: son & daughter in law, Bill & Kaye Butcher; daughters & son in law, Peggy & Frank Sise, Linda Keisling, & Kay Lawson; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Estallee Ogle, Ruth Hill, Ruby Fox, Mildred Huff, & Wilma Woods; brother, Robert Sims; special niece, Joan Hill. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 7 p.m. Rev. Gerald McFarland officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 2 p.m. entombment. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave.
