She was a member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. (Jim) Duncan; parents, Minor Bruff and Almeda Ruth McMahan Derrick. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Jerry Murrell, of Newport; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Melanie Duncan, of Newport; very devoted and loving granddaughter, Nicole Murrell, of Newport. Funeral Services will be held 8 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad, Rev. Wade Holbrook, and Dr. Rich Lloyd officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
