DAVENPORT, CALLIE HAZEL - 71, of Seymour, passed away suddenly on Friday March 2, 2001. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Gladys Cogdill; and her husband, Roy Andrew Davenport, Sr. She is survived by her loving family, son, Roy Davenport, Jr. and wife, Susan; their children, Roy III, Lara, and Robert; daughter, Vicki, and children, Daniel and Adam; daughter Lisa and husband, Larry Allen and their son, Andrew. The family will receive friends Sunday March 4 from 7-9 p.m. at Highland South Funeral Home (Chapman Hwy.) Services will be held on Monday March 5, at 10 a.m. at Highland South Chapel, with Rev. David Webster officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Highland South Cemetery. "She was well loved and respected by all who knew her, and will be sorely missed."
