The parents of Kali Melina Bales, Bill & Marsha Bales, of Gatlinburg, are proud to announce the nomination of their daughter for The National American Miss Tennessee Pageant. The pageant will be held on July 8th & 9th, 2006 at the beautiful Marriot Cool Springs Hotel in Franklin Tennessee.
Miss Bales’s activities include: Gatlinburg-Pittman High School’s Tennis Team, Drama Club, the Cheerleading Squad, Gymnastics, Dance, Student Counsel Freshman President, Key Club and Beta Club. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with family, attending her church, shopping, swimming, watching movies, reading, studying cultures of other countries, school plays, talking and visiting Walt Disney World in Florida.

The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash reward, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disney® in California. Pageants are held for girls ages four to eighteen, in five age groups. The National American Miss Pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s Greatness and encouraging it’s future leaders. Each year, the pageant awards thousands in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist in the development of young women nationwide. All activities are age appropriate and family oriented.

The pageant seeks to recognize the accomplishments of each girl while encouraging her to set goals for the future.
