Margaret "Jane" Whaley , 88, of Cashmere, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Cashmere Convalescent Center. She had lived for more than 50 years in Peshastin, moving to Cashmere five years ago. She was a retired fruit sorter for many warehouses in the Wenatchee Valley. Survivors include her children, Shirley Whaley of Wenatchee, Wendell Whaley of Peshastin and Tom Whaley of Dryden. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ward's Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth. Private family services will be held at Peshastin Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ward's Funeral Chapel.
