Proffitt, a daughter, Lois Wiggins, and a great-grandson, Ken Wiggins. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Bull of Asheville and Sue Neal of Houston; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Winebarger officiating. Her family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and at other times will be at the home of Dorothy Bull, 31 Beverly Road West, Asheville.
