Georgia Jeanette Perryman Proffitt, age 70 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012. She was a member of Gumstand Baptist Church and was employed by Wagners for 29 years. Mrs. Proffitt was preceded in death by her infant son, Ricky Joe Proffitt; parents, George and Judith Ann Perryman; sisters, Mary Ruth Breeden, Edith Wilson, Rhonda Terry; brothers, Wayne and Shirley Perryman.
Survivors include her:
Husband of 54 years, Dale Proffitt;
Sons, Larry Proffitt and wife Penny Proffitt, Gerald Proffitt and wife Brenda Proffitt;
Daughter, Lisa Brackins and husband Jay Brackins;
Grandchildren, Misty Proffitt Townsend, Eddie Brackins, Lindsey Proffitt, Tabby Gray, Tassy Trentham, Jade Brackins, Austin Proffitt;
Six great-grandchildren;
Sisters and brother-in-law, Eula and Dwight Roberts, Wilda McMahan
Brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Carol Perryman;
A special “thanks” to Dr. McGaha and Caris Healthcare.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Parton, Rev. Andy Miller and Rev.
