He was an all around beloved man and a devout Christian. He was formerly employed as an electrician with Gatlinburg Electric and Manis Electric. Mr. Parton was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie (Barnes) and Claude Ray Parton, and grandson, William Hoyles Survivors include his Wife, Nell Parton; Children, Larry Hoyles and Brittney, Michael Claude Huskey and Cathy, Derek Aaron Parton and Christina, Amanda Claudette Parton and Steven; Special family, Michael’s mother Betty Huskey; Grandchildren, Callie Rae Parton, Will and Chloe Huskey, Rilee Smith, Amanda Rhea, Benjamin Aaron Hoyles, Tiffany Williams, Holly and Bradley Glass, Robert Thomas; Eight great-grandchildren; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Butch Lenz, Tina Catlett, Gladys Rauhuff, Carolyn Martin, Peggy Heath, Jama and Jeff Williams, Shirley Parton; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Christy Parton, Gerald Parton, Bob and Marlene Parton, Dale Parton; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nadine and Eugene Oakley; Special cousin, Dwight Boling; And many special family and friends The family will receive friends 1-3 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 3 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev.
