She was a member of Smithwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Buford McCarter, granddaughter Becky Burkett, great-granddaughters Kristy Finchum and Whitney Ownby, parents Rev. Levi and Susie Ogle, sister Liza Jane Perault, and brothers Oliver and Raymond Ogle. Survivors: Daughters and Sons-in-law: Sue and Ronald Ownby, Judy and Coy Branch, Vickie and Steve Ogle, Joyce and Rev.
