ANDES, SUE LARGE - age 87 of Maryville died at 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2000 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: husband, Hugh Andes; parents, J.P. & Dicie Ellen Large; brothers, Ernest, Oliver, Bernard, Dillard, Shirl Large; sisters, Georgia Owenby, Retta Suttles, Blanche Helton.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Shirley & Charlie Hartness of Murphy, N.C.; 2 grandchildren, Kathy & Paul Grubb of N.C.; brother, Frank Large of Sevierville; sister, Eulah Atchley of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2000 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Clarence Evans officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at Shiloah Cemetery in Pigeon Forge for interment. Family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2000, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
