Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Ben Whaley; parents, Lawrence and Dovie Keck; brothers, Roscoe, Sherman, Joe and Esker Keck; sisters, Beulah Coward, Dallie Morton, Anna Mae, and Betty Sue Keck. Survived by daughter, Joanne Whaley; son, George Whaley and wife Jane; daughter, Judy Bowers and husband Charles, all of Knoxville; brothers, Proctor Keck, R.D. and wife Leatrice Keck; sisters, Agnes Emert, and Ella Bumgardner and husband Ed; grandchildren, Teri and husband Mike Holmberg, Randy and wife Penelope Whaley, Brandi and husband Doug Waggener, and Nicola Bowers; great-grandchildren, Julia and Emily Holmberg, Amber and Jonah Whaley, Stone and Saige Bolin, Sawyer Merritt, and Jadelyn Waggener; step-grandchildren, Dewayne and Missy Bowers; step-great-grandchildren, Sydney and Garrett Waggener, Logan and Landon Bowers; several nieces and nephews. Visitation , 5-7 pm Saturday at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow at 7 pm. Reverends David Stooksbury, and Charles Whitson officiating.
