Stella Mae Williams, 87, of Pigeon Forge, went home to be with her Lord and other family members Wednesday, February 5, 2003. Stella began her joyous journey at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center.
Mrs. Williams was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Pigeon Forge.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Sherrod and Vola Franklin King; brothers, Herbert, Wade, and Daniel King; sisters, Martha King, Leona King and Ethel Cursors; grandson, Raymond Williams.
She is survived by her son, Clarence Williams and wife Ann of Pigeon Forge; grandchildren, Mark Williams and wife, Penny of Kettering, OH, Roger Williams and wife Atsuko of Kagawa, Japan; great grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, Austin, Ashley and Kei Williams; brothers, S.E. King and wife Josephine of Sevierville, Claude King and wife Beverly of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Tryphena Tener and husband Horace of Maryville. Besides the immediate family, Stella will be missed by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends who lives she has touched during her lifetime.
Service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2003 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Knight officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8 at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 7 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
