OWNBY, GRACE LAMON - age 75, of Pigeon Forge, died Sunday, August 27, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam W. Ownby; parents, Walter and Mariah Lamon; brother, George Lamon and two infant sisters.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lamphai Ownby; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Roy Carver and Cathy and Tom Wilhelm; grandchildren, Brian and Todd Carver, James and Michael Ownby, Barbara Clabo, Christy Hammond, Tammy Ayers, and John Wilhelm; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lela McFalls, Ethel Whaley, Jean Henry, Velma McCarter and husband Kelly, and Jettie Christian; sisters-in-law, Louise Newton, Eva Lilly, Rue Roach, Faye McFalls and Lula Sharp; brothers-in-law, Bob, Lee and Johnny Ownby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday at Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge, Rev. W.W. Cope officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Grace Lamon Ownby, 75, of Pigeon Forge, died Sunday, August 27, 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam W. Ownby; a brother and two infant sisters. Her parents were Walter and Mariah Lamon.

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge with the Rev. W.W. Cope officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
