CAGLE, BERONICA S. - age 58, of Spring City, Tenn., passed away Thursday, March 1, 2001, at the Roane Medical Center. She was born in Knoxville, and she moved to the Rhea County area in 1986. She was a homemaker, and of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Sherman Kear, and a brother, Jackie Ray Kear.
Survivors include husband, James L. Cagle, Jr. of Spring City, Tenn.; mother, Ina Owenby Foster of Spring City, Tenn.; two sons, Anthony Cagle, Sr. of Pikeville, Tenn., and Ricky Cagle of Spring City, Tenn.; two daughters, Pamela Nutter of Decatur, Tenn., and Marsha Hendricks of Spring City, Tenn.; four brothers, Jerry Kear of Knoxville, Johnny Kear of Knoxville, Jeff Kear of Knoxville, and Thomas Foster of Knoxville; three sisters, Linda Lambert of Winslow, Ariz., Margie Mitchell of Knoxville, Linda Minnick of Andalusia, Ill.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, March 2, 2001, 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert E. Butts officiating. Burial will be Saturday, 2 p.m. in Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, from 6 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Arrangements by Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City, Tenn.
