They lived in Maryville for many years. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Evelyn Rule of Rutledge; daughters and son-in-law, Clara Hurst, Miriam "Micky" and Harry McMahan; grandchildren, Jim and Gail Rule, Sherrie and Kenneth Hayes, Elaine and Bill Mauter, Leslie and Ricky B. Atchley, Karen and Kevin Gryder, Elizabeth and David H. McCarter, Lynn and Peggy McMahan; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7 p.m. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Dr. Rich Liner officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Wednesday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Sevierville Organ Fund or Building Fund.
