Amos Walter Atchley, 95, of East Graves Avenue, founder and former owner of Atchley 's Appliance and T.V. and Well Drilling, which he began in 1956, died Sunday at Volusia Medical Center.
Mr. Atchley was born in Tennessee and moved to this area in 1955. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Louis D. and Wayne, both of Orange City; two daughters, Eula L. Atchley, Oklahoma, and Louise Houston, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Orange City Building Fund, 975 E. Graves Ave., Orange City 32763. Allen-Summerhill, Orange City, is in charge.
