Mr. Atchley was born in Tennessee and moved to this area in 1955. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Louis D. and Wayne, both of Orange City; two daughters, Eula L. Atchley, Oklahoma, and Louise Houston, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Orange City Building Fund, 975 E.
