Box 1025 Dandridge, TN 37725 Phone (865) 397-2711 Fax (865) 397-9289 OBITUARY: Audrey Beatrice Cates Brewer, beloved mother and grandmother, age 93, of Dandridge, TN, went to her heavenly home on July 9, 2006 at Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John William Brewer; sons, Robert M. Sledge, John H. Brewer, Aubrey W. Brewer; daughter, Peggy Brewer Cox; grandson, Rondie L. Brewer Jr.; brother, Garland Cates; and sisters, Edith Kelly, Minnie Spears, Grace Campbell, and Lillie Jenkins. She is survived by her son, Rondie L. Brewer and daughter and son-in-law, John and Beatrice Terry. She has 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great-grandchildren. Her family would like to express their gratitude to her extended family, the wonderful, caring staff at Jefferson County Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Reverend G. Michael Sledge officiating. Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at New Gray Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Jefferson County Nursing Home Activities Dept, 914 Industrial Park Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.
