  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 6 Sep 2009. HAYES, GORDON PARKS - age 93 of Maryville passed away Friday September 4, 2009 at Wellington Place of Maryville. He was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII, a Purple Heart recipient and former owner of Hayes Alignment. He is survived by his wife, Reba Hayes; nephew and wife, Doug and Helen Hayes; niece and husband, Betty and Isach Adams; nephew, Brian McMaha; niece, Darlena French;, niece, Doddie Flynn; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; sisters in law, Maxine and Ed Redwine, Imaruth and Ralph Hiedt. The family would like to express special thanks to care givers Carolyn Moats and Sally Kane. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Olive officiating.
