Florene worked hard all of her life. She was employed as a bus station waitress, secretary at Rigdon's Car Dealership in Newkirk, and worked at an Antique Shop in Mustang. She was a very loving and lovely lady, accepted everyone, was interested in everyone and lifted everyone's spirits. She was very independent and competitive in games with her family. She was also very witty and just enjoyed life. She loved the outdoors, working in the flower beds, mowing the lawn, and raking leaves. She also enjoyed traveling, especially spur-of-the-moment road trips as well as visits to Branson and the shows there.
Florene was a member of First Baptist Church where she belonged to the Miriam Sunday school class. She had an excellent relationship with her Sunday school class and many of them helped care for her in the last months.
Her soul has now joined with her Heavenly Father and she is now rejoicing with her friends and family.
